Fadzlin Hasbullah (N.F. Hasbullah) received the Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K in 2009 and B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Cardiff University, Wales, U.K., in 2001. She was an IC design engineer at Malaysia Microelectronic Solutions in 2001. Since 2010, she has been with the International Islamic University Malaysia, where she is currently an Associates Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Her current research interest include characterization of radiation hard electronics and semiconductor materials.

Dr. Mohd Shahnan Zainal Abidin, obtained his bachelor degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Computer and Communication Engineering in February 2002. He worked as AssistantLecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and concurrently obtained a degree in Master of Science(Communication and Network Engineering) from UPM in May 2005. He was accordingly promoted as
a Lecturer. As he completed his Ph.D study in Photonics and Fiber Optic Systems Engineering in thesame university, he was promoted as Assistant Professor in ECE Department, Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM.

Dr.Belal Ahmed Hamida, received the BSc degree in BSc Computer Engineering from Faculty of Engineering Tajoura, Libya, Sep 1996, the MSc degree in microelectronics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia UKM, Malaysia, in July 2007 and Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering-International Islamic University Malaysia, in Feb 2013. He appointment as Full Time Post-Doctoral Research in Kulliyyah of Engineering-International Islamic University Malaysia (3-June- 2013 -3-June-2014). His research in the field of optical communication systems. Currently, his working as assistant Professor in Kulliyyah of Engineering -International Islamic University Malaysia from Nov 2014and his email address is belal@iium.edu.my. Dr Norazlina Saidin received the B.Eng. in Telecommunications in 2005. She started her career as a Technical Support at the VADS Berhad, Kuala Lumpur in 2005.She was involved in academic area when she was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer at Center for Affiliate and Diploma Program, Multimedia University, Malacca for 2 years. At the same time, she further her studies in MSc.Eng Telecomminication at University of Malaya and was granted MSc.Eng in 2010. She joined International Islamic University Malaysia as a Matriculation Teacher in 2007 and promoted as Matriculation Lecturer in 2010 with a Department of Information and Communications Technology, Centre for Foundation Studies, IIUM. She obtained her Ph.D degree in Fiber Optics from Photonics Research Center, University of Malaya in 2015. Her thesis’s title is Development of Thulium doped and co-doped Fiber Lasers for 1.9 micron Region Operation. Upon completion of her PhD studies, she was successfully published 8 journal papers as a first author including in a high impact journal in the area of Photonics. She is currently a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia. . Of late, her research focuses on the usage of nanomaterials to improve the performance of the sensors.

Dr. Nur Idayu binti Ayob, a former graduate of the Rancangan Persediaan Khas Jepun (RPKJ) under Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) scholarship program for Look East Policy in Universiti Malaya. She obtained the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) from Kobe University, Japan in 2010, Master of Science (Materials Science) and Degree of Doctor of Engineering (Materials Science) from NAIST, Japan in 2012 and 2015, respectively. During her Master and Ph.D study, she was appointed as Teaching Assistant in NAIST, Japan and Academic Trainee under postgraduate fellowship program by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and SLAB scholarship program by Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) Malaysia. Currently she is attached as an Assistant Professor to the Department of Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, IIUM and working on semiconductor materials-radiation related research projects.

Dr Nurul Arfah Che Mustapha received the B. Eng. Electronics-Computer and Information Engineering and M. Sc. (Electronics Engineering) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Malaysia in 2008 and 2011, respectively. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Engineering from IIUM in 2017. Currently, Nurul Arfah works as a Asst. Prof. at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Nurul Arfah is also a graduate member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) since March 2018 and Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), M’18, since early 2018. Her research interest is in CMOS, VLSI circuit design, Energy Harvesting and Wireless Sensor Networks, and signal processing of capacitive sensor.

Dr. Norhanis Aida Mohd Nor received her PhD in Communications Engineering from Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 2018. She received B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. degrees in communications engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Malaysia, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Science, IIUM, Malaysia. Her research interests include free space optics, nonlinear optics, visible light communications, and wireless optical communications.

ALIZA AINI MD RALIB was born in Johor, Malaysia in 1982. She obtained her B. Eng. in Computer and Information Engineering (Electronics) from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2006. Both her MSc and PhD in Electronics Engineering are also from IIUM in 2011 and 2016 respectively. She previously work at Intel Microelectronics Malaysia as layout design engineer from 2006 - 2009. From 2009 to 2016, she was a Research Assistant at Universiti Tenaga Nasional Malaysia and IIUM. Since 2016, she has been Assistant Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, International Islamic University Malaysia. Her research interests include Micro Electro-mechanical (MEMS), CMOS-MEMS acoustic wave resonators, electroacoustic sensors, piezoelectric thin film and MEMS piezoelectric energy harvesting. Upon completion of her PhD, she decided to work on developing on surface acoustic wave sensors for breath analysis as noninvasive solution for early detection of critical disease. Her work has been published both locally and internationally in more than 34 papers in journals and proceedings locally and internationally. She has been awarded IEEE Postgraduate Award of Excellence in Outstanding Project in MEMS and Nanoelectronics organized by IEEE Electron Devices Society Malaysia Chapter in 2016. She is currently an executive committee of IEEE Electron Device Society (EDS) Malaysia Chapter (Communication and Promotion) since 2017-2018.
